What's the strategy behind Star of Bombay? Switching from slow food to slow drinking and
staking on young adults and a wide range of cocktails. The product has been completely
reinvented with the utmost care and an attentive choice of ingredients and flavours to
target a public different from the spirits' traditional one.
Ivano Tonutti's (Bombay's master of botanical) new recipe was presented on the occasion
of a dinner at Milan's Felix Lo Basso restaurant (Piazza Duomo) as a result of hundreds of
experiments leading to a new mix of secret herbs with a touch of Calabrian bergamot,
Alchermes plus a seed from Ecuador with a musky, floral aroma. It is distilled in
Laverstock, UK.
The dinner party was further enhanced by sand artist Simona Gandola who performed a unique, enthralling show representing the company's values and objectives.
